Tomorrow, Friday, November 8, we will celebrate Winston Homecoming! What a wonderful opportunity for students, families, community, and friends to come together to celebrate the joys and journeys at Winston over the many years.
While we are a small school, we have BIG things to celebrate! Every student who has passed through our hallways, for nearly fifty years now, has found a home, a welcoming spirit, and a community committed to helping young people find their passions and reach their potential. The pride and fellowship, grown in the spirit of connection that comes with sharing an educational journey, is a unique and special gift.
Tomorrow we will celebrate our athletes and our student community with a PEP RALLY in the morning, we will cheer on our favorite basketball team at 6 p.m., and round out the night with an Upper School dance. As a special treat, some of our amazing parents are preparing a feast of great food to share in fellowship before the game - so come hungry! All plates will be between $5-10, and there is sure to be something for everyone.
I am proud to lead Winston. I am proud to serve your children. I am proud of our partnership and the ways that it grows each day. I’m proud to be a Winston Eagle!
Please join me and the entire faculty and staff, tomorrow, in celebrating the success of those who have come before and the promise of those yet to come!
